My real name is Krysten, but you can call me Krissy—since we’re friends now. I’ve been a senior graphic designer for almost ten years, but in my free time, I find peace and joy in creating linocuts. I first discovered printmaking in college and instantly fell in love with the process. As many designers do, I’ve always struggled with perfectionism, but linocut has taught me that there’s beauty in imperfections. It’s a practice that has not only helped me embrace the unpredictable nature of art but has also introduced me to so many incredible artists from all over the world.
